A “Ray of sunshine” was truly felt on Friday, September 27th at the inaugural Jean’s Part-Tee for a Cause golf tournament, benefiting the Jean Ray Scholarship Fund at Bradford Country Club.

The  outpouring of support from everyone who attended, donated, and shared in the spirit of the event made it a remarkable success, and we are thrilled to share that we achieved our mission to honor Jean Ray’s commitment to bringing our community together.

Your generosity will help us continue Jean’s legacy by funding three scholarships for deserving Haverhill High School students in Foreign Language, Hillie Pride & Community Service/Spirit, and Overcoming Adversity. Additionally, we are excited to support our Hillie students during prom season with our annual Prom Corsage and Boutonniere Donation. We are committed to growing our efforts to support those in need throughout the year in memory of Jean.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved. To the attendees—friends, family, colleagues, and former students of Jean—your presence made the event truly special.

A special thank you to our dedicated volunteers, the generous donors, and the Bradford Country Club for graciously hosting over 150 participants! We’re excited to share that several golfers have already expressed interest in a second year, and the Bradford Country Club has invited us back to create an annual event next fall. Please stay tuned for more information as we prepare for the 2025 tournament!
